Industry associations

SITA works closely with air transport industry associations in global, regional and national forums. Our relationships with associations enable us to advance industry interests and help solve community issues.

A prime example is SITA’s work to deliver self-service solutions in step with IATA’s Simplifying the Business (StB), Fast Travel and Smart Security programs. SITA has been a strategic partner of IATA for 25 years.

A new Memorandum of Understanding in 2015 reinforced the close association between IATA and SITA, with a framework for continued cooperation and a focus on developments addressing community opportunities and challenges.
